The Cleansing

    You are standing in a place of horror and dread.  The stone of the
floor is dark black, and the torches throw shadows on the walls.  There
is a dark altar here, stained with blood.  It refuses to reflect any 
light from its dark surface.  There is no sign of life but the rats that
scamper through the room.
    The only obvious exits are west, east and out.

Ragetek coughs.

Nils say: We ask of you complete and utter silence during the cleansing
     ceremony.

Ragetek nods slowly and solemnly.
Magwarrior nods.
Geena nods.
Arnie nods slightly.
Nils nod.

Nils says: A follower has dishonored...,
Nils says: the One who's real name no tongue may utter,
Nils says: the Amarthatar,
Nils nods slowly.
Nils says: the Holy Father,
Nils says: the Maker
Nils says: and the Unmaker.
Nils makes a pause
Nils says: There is only one way he can be cleansed
Nils says: Amarthatar's blue flame must cleanse his body and soul
Nils says: The flame will destroy his soul's link to his current body
Nils says: This is the only way the soul can be cleansed of sin
Nils says: And he can start a sinless existance in a new vessel.

Nils gestures.
Nils is silent

I am Ishad N'Ha, the Knight of the Blue Flame.
I follow my the word of the Blue Flame and express its meaning even as
we speak.  Now i must show you the way infidels, or let you burn and be 
gone for ever, destroyed by the blue flames.

This mysterious warrior is clad in a weird amour and robes that seem to be 
blueish in color but also flowing water, swirling around.  In his hand he
wields a mysterious long blade, which when wielded by those who follow the 
words of the Blue Flame, will be engulfed by Blue Flames and become an excellent weapon
 He is carrying:
  A torch.
  Magwarrior's Dark Doom and Mayham fiddle.
  A simple pipe (empty).
  A message stone.
  Ragetek's Holy Doom horn.


Nils gives Magwarrior a small vial of belladonna poison.

Nils nods at Magwarrior.

Ragetek coughs.

As Magwarrior stares at the the vial, all those present begin to chant.
The chanting grows louder, and as it does a blue flame seems
to spring forth under Magwarrior's feet. It grows higher and
higher, engulfing Magwarrior in its fiery embrace.
Soon the flames hide Magwarrior from view and his
death scream is choked by the insurmountable chants.

Magwarrior drinks an entire bottle of poison.
Magwarrior has died.

Ragetek nods slowly and solemnly.

Nils start to sway and chant speak father, speak father, speak father!

Ragetek says: the path of the Amarthatar is no road of ease,
Ragetek says: no road to ramble upon carelessly.
Ragetek says: At times he may demand from you many things:
Ragetek says: commitment,
Ragetek says: discipline,
Ragetek says: long and hard work,

Ragetek cough.

Nils screams complete and utter obedience at the ghost of Magwarrior.

Nils pauses

Nils says: and ye shall either perish by the hand of His servants
Nils says: or by the hand of the Amarthatar Himself
Nils says: in the raging Blue Flame.
Nils says: to die forever
Nils says: and burn forever
Nils says: Magwarrior, you have now been cleansed and may return to living.

Ragetek nods at Magwarrior.

Geena blinks.

Nils say: you may return to the living

Nils say: and rejoin us

Ragetek notices blue flames springing up where Magwarrior's corpse used to lie.

Nils say: The ceremony has come to its end.
