The Banishment of Arvoreg

by Smirf

Former Turamarth
In days gone by, great teacher;
He hides from Firfaroth.

Favoured one he falls
Sinking low in the gutter
From heights of Glory.

Pitiful to see
Faithless justification;
One weeps but no more.

Misguided human
Wanting absolute power
Not a student of our Lord.

Derision and scorn
Disgust from former equals;
He will not survive.

Obedience gone
Anger from those he had lead
Faces turn away.

Thunderous sermons
Delivered from a distance
Fall on fallow ears.

Plainative pleadings
Emotive exhortations;
Unresponsive Men.

Lonely footsteps go
His head held high and proudly;
Arvoreg swears oaths.

Vengeance and revenge
Soonest 'gainst Turamarth Nils
Small man, empty words.

Relentless hunting
Firfaroth is at his throat
Arvoreg near death.

Mocking orders come
Heavy with cold intentions
Turamath see all.

Unworthy life spared
Forever with the knowledge;
Justice delivered.

Small man, empty words
Failure utter and total;
Ridiculed man.
